“Take a Break - Go to a Quiet Place”


After an intense and stressful time of ministry, rejection and dealing with the death of John the Baptist, Jesus said to His disciples in Mark 6:31, “Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest.”

When stress builds and there appears to be no relief in site, we need to do what Jesus recommended and find a quiet place to be alone with God in prayer.

Quiet, intimate time with God is the one thing above all else that will renew your soul, fortify your faith and equip you to face even the hardest challenges of life. 

To much stress over a period of time, that is not properly handled, will break you down physically, mentally and emotionally. 

Take a break with God so you won’t breakdown. He will renew your strength so you can “.... soar on wings like eagles, and run and not be weary and walk and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31
