¿Por qué será que ordenó el Dr. L. H. Ashcraft poner en fideicomiso con el Banco Nacional de México las propiedades de Monte Hebrón? Había la opción de escriturar a favor de una asociación civil o una sociedad anónima, la última, dada de alta por el director del instituto, pero el Dr. L. H. Ashcraft siguió insistiendo que se escriturara en fideicomiso.
¿Será porque el Dr. L. H. Ashcraft sabía bien cual funcionaría mejor con sus deseos?

Estos son mis deseos y mi oración es que sean cumplidas cuando me encuentren discapacitado o cuando el Señor me lleve a casa:
Tommy: Quiero que tu tengas autoridad sobre toda la propiedad y edificios desde la clínica hasta la línea de propiedad atrás de tu casa incluyendo toda la propiedad nueva.
Lanny: Quiero que tu tengas la propiedad y edificios desde la clínica, incluyendo la clínica al norte. Quiero que tu tengas autoridad y privilegio de mantener, construir y financiar futura construcción de dormitorios, incluyendo abastecimiento de agua.
Quiero que Mama (su esposa) tenga cualquier y todos los fondos que sean mandados a mi nombre para que sean distribuidos por ella con la ayuda y consejos de Tommy y Lanny. También quiero que si alguno pide prestado o si ella quiere hacer una donación de $500.00 dólares o mas, que sea un requisito de ser aprobado por Tommy, Lanny o David.
Quiero que David sea el administrador encargado de mi testamento.
Quiero mas que todos estos deseos, que mis hijos hagan la obra al cual Dios les ha llamado a hacer. Quiero que Tommy y Lanny tengan unidad, libertad, y amor para hacer la obra que yo sé que Dios desea que hagan en Monte Hebrón. Con cada uno de ellos llevando su propia carga de obligaciones y responsabilidades. Yo sé que muchos hombres de Dios serán enseñados y entrañados y enviados a todo México. Yo sé que si Uds. pueden encontrar en sus corazones organizarse de alguna forma que mis deseos pueden ser cumplidos y no hay límite de lo que Dios puede hacer y hará através de Uds. dos, hombres de Dios llamados por él para seguir adelante después de que yo me vaya a casa. Yo sé que por medio de la ayuda de Dios sus obras en Monte Hebrón tendrán un gran impacto en todo Central America.
Tommy, Dios te a llamado a ti y a Brenda a un lugar especial para hacer una obra especial y estoy orgulloso de los dos. Los dos están haciendo un buen trabajo. Tú has hecho una obra tremenda con la iglesia y escuela. Mi deseo es que la obra florezca después de mi partida y yo creo que lo hará.
Lanny, estoy orgulloso de lo que tú y Pam está haciendo. Uds. han sacrificado para ayudar a Tommy y David conmigo por lo que estoy pasando. Estoy muy agradecido. Por favor, cuando yo me vaya regresa para hacer más de la obra misionera al cual Dios los ha llamado hacer. Yo sé que tú obra ha sufrido por sus sacrificios ayudándome a mi y a Mamá, pero regresa para que sigue haciendo lo que Dios te ha llamado a hacer en México.
David, de igual manera estoy orgulloso de ti y de Debra por sus vidas dedicadas. Me da orgullo tener un hijo sirviendo nuestra patria y el Señor al mismo tiempo. Solo pon a Dios primero en tu vida y entrena tus niñas para servirle a El.
Billie, estoy orgulloso de ti y Tom, y la obra que Uds. están haciendo con la gente indígena. Dios les a dado una familia maravillosa y la mitad de nuestros nietos. Yo creo que un día tú familia hará una gran obra para Dios. Eres tan dedicada y pura, cualquiera estaría orgulloso de tenerte de hija. Yo creí que tú eras la bebita más bonita en todo el mundo... no he cambiado mi pensar. Solo mantén la fe que tienes en Dios, sigue entrenado tus hijos en el camino que deben y un día ellos te harán a ti tan orgulloso que Uds. mis hijos me han hecho a mi.
Dios me a dado una familia maravillosa. Yo sé que mis nietos serán enseñados a seguir al Señor.
Los amo a cado uno de Uds.
Tengo una petición más, si la propiedad de Monte Hebrón se llega a vender un día quiero que sea dividido en partes iguales entre Uds. cuatro, Tommy, Lanny, David y Billie.
Tengo a Mamá escribiendo esto mientras me siento lo suficiente bien para pensar claramente.
Que Dios bendiga cada uno de Uds. en sus servicios para el Señor hasta que El regresa.

These are my wishes that I pray will be carried out when I become disabled or when the Lord takes me home:
Tommy: I would like for you to have authority over all of the property and buildings from the clinic to property line behind your house including all of new property.
Lanny: I would like you to have property and buildings from clinic including clinic north. I would like for you to have authority and privilege to maintain, construct, and finance future construction of dorms, including water supply.
I would like for Mama to have any and all funds that are sent to me to be distributed by her with the help and advice of Tommy and Lanny. I also would like, if anyone should want to borrow, or if she wants to give a gift of $500.00 or more, that it must be approved by Tommy, Lanny or David.
I would like for David to be administrator over my Will.
More than all of these wishes I would like for my children to do the work God has called them to do. I would like for Tommy and Lanny to have unity, liberty, and love to work as I know God wants them to do at Mt. Hebron. With each carrying his load of obligation and responsibility, I know that many men of God will be taught and trained and sent out to all Mexico. I know that if you boys can find it in your hearts to organize in some way that my wishes can be carried out, there is no limit to what God can and will do through you two men of God, called of Him to carry on after I've gone home. I know through God's help you boys' work through Mt Hebron will have a great impact on all Central America.
Tommy, God has called you and Brenda to a special place to do a special work and I am so proud of you. You are both doing a good job. You have done a tremendous job with the church and school. My desire is that the work will flurish after I'm gone, and I believe it will.

Billie, I'm proud of you and Tom, and the work you are doing with the Indians. God gave you a wonderful family and half of our grandchildren. I believe someday your family will do a great work for God. You are so dedicated and pure, anyone would be proud to have you for a daughter. I thought you were the prettiest baby in the world... I still haven't changed my mind. Just keep the faith you have in God, keep training your children in the way they should go someday they will make you as proud as you children have made me.
God gave me a wonderful family. I know my grandchildren will be taught to follow the Lord. What more could I ask but that my children and grandchildren do the will of God.
